Never a Dull Moment!

Update from last week:
Great news! Charbay is now available for purchase in ALL Oliver's Markets in Sonoma County :-) Thank you to my girl Kathryn Slate at American Wines & Spirits for making it happen and Renay at Oliver's for taking the time to enjoy Charbay at 9:30 in the morning! Such a good sport...

Also, Fiesta and Pacific Markets are a fabulous spot to pick up Charbay - both of their stores are lovely and the food is delish!

St. Helena Wine Center - our #1 retailer in the whole wide world now has Charbay Whiskey II, as well as the delicious straight-out-of-the-bottle Charbay Aperitifs!

Has anyone seen the new and improved Eqqus Restaurant in Santa Rosa? Sweet new backbar and tasty cocktail menu. If you have a chance to eat in the dining room, don't miss out on the table side Caesar salad - BEST I've ever had, made to your specs!!

Also, when you are in Sonoma County - don't miss out on Bluegrass BBQ in Glen Ellen... Besides the fact that they serve Charbay Whiskey, their menu is fresh, yummy and generous. What more could you want?

Have you had a chance to try Bressler Vineyards Cabernet? Don't feel bad, most people haven't... Given the chance though, sip some of this tasty juice. I love these two - and hope to be like them when I grow up :-) Anyway, I hooked Stacey up with Suzanne from Clothing Swap the other night (ate at Angele, yummy, every time) because they are two of the most dynamic women I know. Sweet, they got along great and I enjoyed their company mucho. I even ended up volunteering for the "Wine, Women & Shoes" event, with proceeds benefiting Planned Parenthood.

Dahi of Future Bars (including Swig and Bourbon & Branch), brought a crew of 25 people to visit us last week - we had a good ole time. Don't ask them what's in the garden...??!!

Sophisticated Palate
- run by Patricia Landis, Chef John Ash and Chef Andy Wild of the CIA (Culinary Institute of America, not the government :-)) came up to Charbay for the final dinner in this series (sort of like a cooking summer school for adults). What a blast we had! Roasted a pig, served up all sorts of traditional Serbian food in honor of Miles and ended the evening with port and cigars around the fire.

Also, had lunch with David & Pam Canepa of Mill Valley Market - LOVE THEM! Got to check out the new wine & spirits room... Beautiful! Vasco offered up a tasty lunch - and Charbay Pomegranate Vodka ***

OK... so here's what's in my Charbay glass this week - - -

Today, Monday - Relish Cooking School in Healdsburg. Brand new digs, can't wait to see it! Tasting Donna & crew on our new Aperitifs as they are perfectly legal in beer and wine licenses... yaaaay. We have done a couple of cocktail cooking schools with this crew and Scott Beattie at Cyrus, good adult fun!

Tues - Meeting up with my man Ryan in Marin County... Lunch at Il Davide, then...??

Wed - Charbay night at Piacere in San Carlos - come by for a cocktail!

Fri - Happy 4th people! Please email me with fun plans, I'm ready to party :-)!!!
