Learn to make 3 citrus-based drinks with acclaimed bartender and author Scott Beattie, including Meyer Beautiful (My, You're Beautiful), Pelo del Perro (Hair of the Dog), and Bleeding Orange. Instruction will include side recipes, garnish how-to, foams, and rim sugars and salts. Drinks will feature Charbay spirits and fresh, seasonal fruit from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Each guest will have hands-on time with Scott and 13th generation distiller, Marko Karakasevic, about Charbay Winery and Distillery. Guests will enjoy the drinks they have learned to make. Signed copied of Beattie's book, "Artisanal Cocktails: Drinks Inspired by the Seasons from the Bar at Cyrus" will be for sale. All proceeds benefit CUESA.
