Oh goodness, what fun. Thanks to everyone for all your support! And a very special shout out to Westin Verasa and their hard working F & B crew!!!
We started out with a bang, 7pm sharp, with our special cocktail/food pairing. And I mean with a BANG! BANK Cafe & Bar filled up within a matter of minutes... People ordering the special Charbay Meyer Lemon cocktail and tasty crab cakes with meyer lemon sauce (this was the big hit) or enjoying a Charbay Green Tea cocktail with the oh-so-tasty veggie & cheese panini (cut into bite sized squares). While planning this party, we so blindly thought that this earlier portion was going to be mellow, calm & collected. How wrong we were! It was great - the whole Karakasevic family (besides the sorely missed Lara - she was home with her little girls) was mingling and chatting and having a nice time with our guests.
At 10pm the party REALLY got started with our NorCal industry folks... Marko and I had an Aperitif station so we could talk about our newest libation and pour for our people without them getting stuck in line at the bar. We saw lots of our favorite people - had a wonderful time. People showed up from St. Helena, Calistoga, Angwin, Yountville, Napa... Even SF! Thank you all for such a wild success - we had a blast!
